I think that’s everything. I still have LOTS to plant and I’ll be starting a very late but much anticipated garden.
We’ll also be building the duck house soon and finishing the pond. Next week the ducks will be introduced to a kiddie pool full of water. I can’t wait to see them start to swim and play in the water. We also need to get a move on putting some grass in. Its just difficult for me to plan on putting grass where it will ultimately end up getting all ripped up. I’m trying to come up with a solution right now…so far, my mind’s a blank! LOL
Hey Angela,How are you? I was wondering if your NM climate allows you to grow all year long? I think it’s wonderful to see you use the earth to provide wholesome nutrition for your family. An environment you have control over without worrying about what kind of pesticides or growth hormones are in your food. I don’t know if I have a green thumb, but I’ll find out soon enough if my tomato plant produces good fruit. I’ve never really grown food before so wish me luck. Tell Dom and the kids I said hi. I love you big sis,
Love Jeff
Hi Jeff!Thank you for commenting on my blog! Good luck growing your tomatoes. You can always email me if you need some advice about growing things. I don’t know everything there is to know about growing things, but the best thing you will ever do is actually just try and do it. You never know. You may be surprised at how well things grow.
We don’t have the kind of weather that would allow for us to grow all year, but we will be putting in a few greenhouses this fall so that we can start our aquaponics as well as planting things to grow through the winter.
I do like having control over what goes into our food, and I LOVE laboring all day to make food that our family will enjoy.
I love you my baby brother! Give everyone a kiss and hug for me.
Muah!
xoxo
