I’m Tired

I’m tired…
I’m really, REALLY TIRED!

I wake up early in the morning, and my eyes are rolling by 4:30pm in the afternoon. When my eyes are rolling in the back of my head and I give in to sleep’s magical spell, I can honestly say there is nothing better! It truly is magic.

I’m up late today (its 10:12 pm as I write this) because my son Noah is getting on a plane first thing tomorrow morning and he won’t be back until the end of July. He’s pretty bummed out that he won’t get to see the new ducklings, but there will be plenty of other opportunities to see chicks and ducks. He and I just finished watching a really cool movie. I’m gonna miss my Nonie while he’s away.

He’s all packed up and ready to go. I have to be up at 4:00am (not unusual for me) to take him to the airport and see him off. But that’s not why I’m so freaking tired! The heat wave we’ve been having, along with the drying winds, poor air quality from the Arizona wild fires, and feeling dehydrated has basically sucked me dry. I feel like all the juice has been squeezed right out of me. I just want to lay down and fall to sleep. My eyes are starting to roll as I write this sentence…off to bed I go!
