There are mushrooms growing in our potato patch! How awesome is that!? I love to see mushrooms in the garden and really anywhere that I have planted things. In our front mini kitchen garden, we have mushrooms that pop up and then die back.
These mushrooms are not the edible type, but what they do is break down compost and mulch to make it more accessible to the surrounding plants. Mushrooms are a sign that the soil is alive and thriving!
